Suzanne Staebler, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN is a nationally recognized neonatal nurse practitioner, educator, and health policy advisor with expertise in maternal–neonatal care, APRN workforce development, and health system optimization. A practicing clinician, she has been a driving force in advancing APRN regulation, contributing to the implementation of the Consensus Model for APRN Regulation through over 15 years of service in the Licensure, Accreditation, Certification & Education (LACE) Network, including its Steering Committee.

Dr. Staebler earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Texas Christian University, concentrating in health policy. Her doctoral research examined regionalized care systems for high-risk mothers and neonates, highlighting both policy and cost implications. As a former APRN Program Director at Emory University, she is well versed in translating research to practice and strategically addressing challenges of educating and training the advanced practice nursing workforce while building sustainable pipelines.

Her leadership has been recognized through her professional engagement in competitive fellowships with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and the Georgia Health Policy Center. A Fellow of both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nursing, she is a sought-after speaker, author, and consultant. Suzanne also engages as a Senior Consultant and subject matter expert in the UPTIC LLC Network - a nurse owned firm aimed at advancing nursing education, accreditation, and healthcare operational excellence. Guided by integrity, authenticity, and strategic vision, she partners with universities, health systems, and policymakers to achieve operational excellence and improved patient outcomes.
